The process of receiving a tooth bridge is simple, easy, and comfortable. Patients will schedule two appointments. During the first appointment (after the initial consultation and examination), a slight layer of enamel will be removed from the two teeth adjacent to the space where the tooth once was. This will make room for the bridge to be bonded into place. Patients can request sedation for this, and will receive a local anesthetic. Then, impressions are taken and sent to an outside laboratory in which the restoration is created. After a week or two, the restoration is sent to Dr. Greenberg, and the patient comes back to the office to have the bridge bonded into place.

The process of receiving a tooth bridge is not painful or uncomfortable when handled by a dental professional such as Dr. Greenberg of Mouth Carolina Dentistry, PA in Charleston. If you are a patient in the Charleston or West Ashley area, call Mouth Carolina Dentistry, PA today to schedule a consultation appointment and examination.
